Run a Pomodoro cycle, time an open-ended task, or count down a custom break — right in your browser, no sign-up required.
Run the classic 25/5 Pomodoro cycle with fully adjustable work and break lengths, an animated countdown ring, and a polished dark mode that's easy on the eyes during late-night study or work sessions.
Track open-ended tasks with a precise stopwatch that keeps counting accurately even when the tab is in the background, and record lap splits you can export as a CSV file.
Set any countdown you need — a quick break, a workout interval, a reading session — and save it as a named preset you can reuse with one click.
The Pomodoro Technique is a time-management method built around short, focused work intervals. You set a focus timer for 25 minutes, work without interruption, then take a 5-minute break — repeating that cycle four times before a longer 15–20 minute break. This rhythm of focused work and rest reduces mental fatigue, making it easier to stay productive through long study or work sessions. Pomop's built-in Pomodoro timer follows this exact structure by default, with fully customizable work and break lengths, so you can adapt the technique into your own study timer or work timer routine. Whether you're doing deep work, exam prep, or working through a busy task list, alternating focused intervals with short breaks is one of the simplest ways to build a sustainable, distraction-free productivity habit.

Switch between Stopwatch, Pomodoro, and Custom Timer from the segmented control at the top.
Press Start (or hit Space). The timer keeps counting accurately even if you switch tabs — the tab title shows a live countdown while you're away.
A short tone plays at 5 seconds remaining, and a different tone plays when a session finishes — with a browser notification if the tab is in the background.
Every completed session is saved automatically to your browser, so you can track streaks, daily totals, and your most productive day.
Yes. Pomop.app has no backend and no account system — every setting, preset, and session in your history is stored only in your browser's local storage. Nothing is ever sent to a server.
Yes. Pomop.app is a Progressive Web App — install it from your browser and it will keep working without an internet connection.
The timer keeps counting accurately in the background using timestamps rather than a simple countdown, so it never drifts. The browser tab title updates to show the live time remaining while you're away.
If you allow notifications when you press Start, Pomop.app will fire a browser notification when a session finishes, even if the tab is in the background.
Yes. Open History and use Export to download your session history as a JSON file, then use Import on another device or browser to bring it back in.
Space starts or pauses the active timer, R resets it, L records a lap (Stopwatch only), and Esc stops it.
By default, four work sessions are followed by a long break, with short breaks in between. You can change the work, short break, and long break durations, and how many sessions occur before a long break, in Settings.
